Can your medical records replace a clinical trial?

NCT ID NCT07225790

Summary

This study aimed to see if information from real-world electronic health records can reliably answer cancer treatment questions. Researchers recreated a past breast cancer drug trial using data from nearly 4,000 patients' medical records instead of running a new trial. The goal was to understand when and how real-world data can be trusted for medical research.
