Major trial aims to spare thousands from chemotherapy

NCT ID NCT07213206

Summary

This large study is testing if a combination of newer, targeted drugs can effectively control a specific type of early-stage breast cancer, potentially allowing patients to avoid traditional chemotherapy. It will compare the new drug regimen against the standard approach of chemotherapy plus targeted therapy in 1500 women. The goal is to find a treatment that works just as well but with fewer harsh side effects.
