Summary

This study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called afuresertib to the standard hormone therapy fulvestrant can better control advanced breast cancer that has grown despite prior treatments. It is for adults with a specific type of breast cancer (HR+/HER2-) that has spread or returned after 1-2 prior therapies. The main goal is to see if this combination can keep the cancer from growing for longer than the standard treatment alone.
