Could two pills replace harsh chemo for breast cancer?

Summary
This study is testing if a combination of two pills (ribociclib and letrozole) can work as well as standard chemotherapy when given before surgery for certain types of breast cancer. It involves 100 postmenopausal women with hormone-sensitive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Doctors first give letrozole for two weeks and check a tumor marker (Ki67) to decide the best next step: continue pills or get randomized to either the new pill combo or standard chemo.
