Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called giredestrant works as well as or better than standard treatment for premenopausal women with early-stage, hormone-sensitive breast cancer. Researchers compared three treatment approaches over four weeks before surgery in 231 participants. They measured how well each treatment slowed cancer cell growth by taking tumor samples before and after treatment.
