Breast cancer trial tests treatment swap strategy to outsmart tumor resistance

NCT ID NCT07455188

Summary

This study aims to see if switching between two different targeted drug combinations helps control advanced HER2-positive breast cancer for a longer time after the first treatment stops working. It will involve 600 women whose cancer has spread and who have already tried one of these drug combinations. Researchers will compare which order of using these treatments works better to delay cancer growth and extend survival.
