New surgical technique aims to reduce repeat breast cancer surgeries
NCT ID NCT07244588
Summary
This study is testing a simpler surgical technique to check if all cancer cells are removed during breast-conserving surgery. It aims to see if this method is as safe and effective as the standard, more complex lab test, while potentially saving time and money. The study will involve 30 women with early-stage breast cancer who are eligible for breast-conserving surgery.
