Summary
This study aims to understand how the temporary lack of oxygen that occurs during breast cancer surgery affects tumor tissue. Researchers will collect small tumor samples from 500 patients at different points during their operation. These samples will be analyzed to see how the tumor's genes and proteins change, with the goal of informing future treatment strategies.
