New tech aims to sharpen Surgeons' aim in breast cancer operations
NCT ID NCT07185568
Summary
This study aims to find the best method to guide surgeons when removing small, non-palpable breast tumors. It will compare three different guidance techniques: a special ultrasound-guided clip, a magnetic seed, and the traditional wire method. The goal is to see which method helps surgeons remove the cancer completely on the first try, reducing the need for repeat surgeries and improving cosmetic results for patients.
