Community takes charge: new program aims to boost Life-Saving mammograms for native women

Summary

This study is testing a program designed to help more Native American women get breast cancer screening mammograms. It will involve 200 women from the Navajo Nation who are overdue for a mammogram. The program uses a tablet-based education tool and may also include one-on-one support from a community peer navigator to help overcome barriers to care.
