Study probes why some women skip vital breast cancer scans

NCT ID NCT07076147

Summary

This study aims to understand how often women at a moderately increased risk for breast cancer follow through with recommended screening. Researchers will compare two groups: women with specific gene changes and women with a high calculated lifetime risk. By reviewing medical records and surveys, the study seeks to identify what makes it easier or harder for these women to get their annual breast MRI scans.
