New scan could tell doctors which breast cancer treatment will work
NCT ID NCT02398773
Summary
This study is testing a special imaging scan to see if it can predict whether hormone therapy will work for patients with advanced breast cancer that has spread. The scan uses a radioactive form of estrogen to 'light up' cancer spots in the body. If successful, this scan could help doctors choose the right treatment faster and avoid giving treatments that won't work.
