4500 women help scientists predict breast cancer from benign biopsies

Summary
This study looks at tissue, mammograms, and genetics from 4500 women who had a benign breast biopsy to find clues about who might later develop breast cancer. The goal is to improve risk prediction and make future diagnosis and treatment more personalized. Participants must be female, aged 18–100, and have had a benign breast biopsy at Mayo Clinic between 2002 and 2022.
