New drug combo aims to stop breast Cancer's return in High-Risk women

Summary

This study is for postmenopausal women with early-stage, hormone-sensitive breast cancer who have a high risk of the cancer returning. It aims to see if adding a new drug called abemaciclib to standard hormone therapy is better at preventing cancer recurrence than hormone therapy alone. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment or the standard treatment plus abemaciclib for two years.
