Blood test spots Cancer's return early, triggers stronger drug defense
NCT ID NCT04567420
Summary
This study is for people with a high-risk type of breast cancer who are already on standard hormone-blocking pills. It first uses a special blood test to look for tiny signs of cancer that might be returning. If the test turns positive but a scan shows no visible spread, patients are assigned to either continue their standard pills or switch to a stronger two-drug combination for up to two years, aiming to stop the cancer from coming back.
