Tiny radioactive seeds could boost breast cancer treatment success

NCT ID NCT07269691

Summary

This study is testing whether placing tiny radioactive seed markers in breast tumors before chemotherapy can help patients achieve better treatment results. Women with early-stage breast cancer will be randomly assigned to either receive these seed markers or receive standard treatment without them. The goal is to see if the markers help more patients achieve complete disappearance of cancer after chemotherapy and surgery, potentially improving long-term outcomes.
