Cutting radiation time in half: new study tests 2-Week treatment for breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07344597

Summary

This study compares two shorter radiation schedules for breast cancer patients who have had surgery. Researchers want to see if a 2-week radiation schedule works as well as the standard 3-week schedule at preventing cancer from returning. The study will also track side effects to see if the shorter schedule is equally safe for patients.
