Scientists hunt for clues to predict breast cancer treatment response

NCT ID NCT07387861

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at stored tumor samples from 70 women with a common type of breast cancer (ER-positive, HER2-negative) who received hormone therapy. Researchers want to see if two specific proteins, p-AKT and p-S6, can help tell which cancers will respond to treatment and which will not. The goal is to find better ways to personalize breast cancer care.
