Scientists hunt for clues in breast cancer tissue to predict treatment success
NCT ID NCT07387861
First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study examines stored tumor tissue from 70 people with a common type of breast cancer (ER-positive, HER2-negative) who received hormone therapy. Researchers want to see if certain proteins in the tissue are linked to whether the cancer responds to treatment or becomes resistant. The goal is to better understand why some tumors stop responding to hormone therapy, which could help guide future treatment decisions.
