New scanner aims to cut repeat breast cancer surgeries

Summary
This study tests a special scanner that helps doctors check if all cancer has been removed during breast cancer surgery. About 20 women will take part. The scanner uses light to look at the removed tissue right away, without damaging it. The goal is to see if this method can reduce the need for a second surgery.
