First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new dye called LS301-IT that makes cancer cells glow during breast cancer surgery. About 100 women with early-stage breast cancer will receive the dye before their lumpectomy. The goal is to see if the dye helps surgeons remove all cancer while sparing healthy tissue. The main focus is safety, but researchers will also check how well the dye highlights tumors.
