NCT ID NCT05226663

First seen Dec 24, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive tracer called [18F]FluorThanatrace (FTT) used with PET/CT scans to improve imaging of breast cancer. About 36 adults with known breast cancer will receive the tracer before standard surgery or biopsy. The goal is to see if FTT can help detect an enzyme linked to cancer growth, potentially leading to better diagnosis.
