Zapping breast cancer: new electrical treatment trial

NCT ID NCT07263451

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-heat-based electrical treatment called irreversible electroporation (IRE) for early-stage breast cancer. It aims to see if using IRE to destroy the tumor right before standard surgical removal is safe and effective. The research will involve 24 participants and carefully track how well the tumor is removed and any side effects experienced.
