New hope for advanced breast cancer: early trial tests experimental drug combinations
NCT ID NCT03332797
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing the safety and appropriate dosing of an experimental drug called GDC-9545 for advanced breast cancer. The study involves 181 patients with estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer that has spread or returned. Researchers are testing GDC-9545 alone and in combination with other cancer drugs to understand side effects and see if it shows early signs of helping control the cancer.
