New breast cancer drug trial targets younger women

Summary
This study is testing a new breast cancer medication called imlunestrant in premenopausal women with early-stage, hormone-sensitive breast cancer. Researchers will compare how it affects cancer cells and ovaries to the standard drug tamoxifen. The trial includes two groups: one receiving short-term treatment before surgery, and another receiving longer-term treatment after previous therapy.
