Egyptian study weighs cost and benefit of advanced breast cancer drugs
NCT ID NCT07487129
Summary
This study looked at how three already-approved breast cancer drugs work for Egyptian patients in real-world hospital settings, not just in controlled trials. Researchers followed 206 women with advanced, hormone-sensitive breast cancer to see how long the drugs kept the cancer from worsening, their side effects, and whether their benefits were worth the cost. The goal was to provide practical information to help doctors and health systems in Egypt make better treatment decisions.
