New drug combo tested for Tough-to-Treat breast cancer

NCT ID NCT05458674

Summary

This study is testing whether combining three existing drugs—tucatinib, trastuzumab, and eribulin—is safe and effective for people with advanced HER2+ breast cancer that has continued to grow despite previous treatments. It will enroll about 30 adults to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control the disease, including cancer that may have spread to the brain. The main goals are to check for side effects and see how well the treatment works.
