New 3D mammography aims for sharper breast cancer images

NCT ID NCT06373354

Summary

This study is testing two different 3D mammography machines to see which one gives doctors clearer pictures of suspicious areas in the breast, like lumps or tissue distortions. It will involve 100 women who are already scheduled for a regular screening mammogram. Researchers will compare the images from a standard machine and a newer one to find out which is better at showing potential problems.
