Blood test aims to predict breast Cancer's return
NCT ID NCT05333874
Summary
This study is testing a special blood test that looks for tiny pieces of cancer DNA (ctDNA) left in the body after initial treatment and surgery for early-stage breast cancer. The goal is to see if finding this leftover cancer DNA can help doctors decide whether to change or adjust follow-up treatment to try to prevent the cancer from coming back. Researchers will enroll 34 patients to see how the blood test results influence treatment choices.
