Blood test study aims to Fine-Tune breast cancer care
NCT ID NCT05662345
Summary
This study is observing whether tracking cancer cells circulating in the blood (CTCs) can help doctors make better treatment decisions for people with metastatic breast cancer. It involves 65 patients who will have blood drawn to see if the CTC results match up with their standard imaging scans and how their disease progresses. The goal is to learn if this information is useful for managing treatment, but it does not test a new therapy.
