Scientists hunt for clues in old cancer samples to predict treatment failure

NCT ID NCT07387861

Summary

This study aims to understand why some breast cancers stop responding to standard hormone therapy. Researchers will analyze stored tumor tissue from 70 patients who previously received treatment, looking for specific protein patterns. The goal is to find markers that might predict which cancers become resistant to therapy, potentially guiding future treatment decisions.
