New tool aims to gauge how women cope with breast cancer
NCT ID NCT07328321
Summary
This study created and tested a short questionnaire to measure how well women accept their breast cancer diagnosis. Researchers gave the 8-question survey to 101 women with breast cancer to see if it reliably measures two things: being open to the reality of the illness and staying active despite it. The goal is to give healthcare providers a tool to spot patients who are struggling, so they can offer better mental health support and improve quality of life.
