Summary
This study aims to understand how women with BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutations react to additional genetic testing that provides more detailed risk information. Researchers want to see how this extra information affects their healthcare decisions, particularly whether they choose preventive mastectomy or regular monitoring. The study involves 400 women who carry these mutations but haven't had breast cancer themselves.
