Can a simple video help families prevent cancer?

NCT ID NCT05264532

Summary

This study tested whether a short video could help people who carry a BRCA gene mutation encourage their family members to get tested. 58 participants were randomly assigned to either receive a video via text message or a traditional letter in the mail. The goal was to see which method was better at helping families share important health information that could lead to cancer prevention.
