NCT ID NCT05303428
First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study explores how gentle ultrasound waves can temporarily change brain activity in healthy adults. Researchers will use brain scans and thinking tasks to see if these changes affect how the brain works. The goal is to learn more about brain signaling, which could one day help treat conditions like addiction, pain, or mental health issues. Participants attend 4 visits and undergo MRI, CT, and ultrasound sessions.
