First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study explores whether a noninvasive technique called transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS) can improve memory by stimulating the hippocampus, a brain region key for memory. Researchers will test this in 25 people aged 50-85 with mild memory problems or healthy aging. The goal is to see if tFUS is safe and can enhance memory performance.
