First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a treatment plan for children under 3 with certain brain tumors. It uses chemotherapy first to delay radiation, giving the brain more time to develop. Then, only the tumor area gets targeted radiation to reduce learning and thinking problems. The goal is to improve survival while protecting the child's long-term health.
