New fluid aims to give brain surgeons a sharper view
NCT ID NCT07042620
Summary
This study is testing a new ultrasound fluid called SonoClear® to see if it helps surgeons get clearer pictures of brain tumors during surgery. Up to 15 adult patients with brain tumors in Germany will have their surgery imaged with both the new fluid and the standard fluid for comparison. The main goal is to see if the new fluid reduces image noise and improves picture quality to help surgeons make better decisions about removing all of the tumor.
