New brain scan could predict tumor behavior before surgery

NCT ID NCT05990244

Summary

This study is investigating whether measuring the stiffness and stickiness of brain tumors using a special MRI technique can help doctors better understand tumor characteristics. Researchers will scan 100 adults with glioma before surgery, then compare scan results with surgical findings and tumor tissue analysis. The goal is to see if these measurements can predict tumor behavior and help guide more personalized treatment decisions.
