Testing safer second radiation for returning brain tumors
NCT ID NCT02698254
Summary
This study aims to find the safest and most effective dose for giving radiation therapy a second time to patients whose brain tumors have returned after previous radiation. It will closely monitor patients for serious side effects, particularly damage to healthy brain tissue, while also tracking if the treatment helps control the tumor. The goal is to establish safer guidelines for this challenging treatment approach.
