NCT ID NCT00850278
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a special PET scan tracer called [18F]FLT to see if it can better diagnose and predict the course of brain tumors in 50 adult patients. The tracer highlights rapidly dividing cells, which are common in aggressive tumors. Researchers compared this new method with standard MRI and other imaging techniques to evaluate its accuracy.
