New dye could help surgeons see and remove brain tumors more completely

NCT ID NCT07438860

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new imaging dye called SBK2-ICG. It is given to adults with malignant brain tumors about an hour before their scheduled surgery. The goal is to see if the dye can light up the exact edges of the tumor, helping surgeons remove more of the cancer while protecting healthy brain tissue.
