Scientists investigate if your gut holds clues to fighting brain cancer

NCT ID NCT06117930

Summary

This study aims to understand how the bacteria living in our digestive system might influence brain tumor growth and how patients respond to treatments. Researchers will collect samples like stool, blood, and saliva from 100 adults undergoing brain tumor surgery. By analyzing these samples, they hope to learn if gut microbes affect cancer progression and treatment outcomes.
