New hope for aggressive brain tumor patients in clinical trial

Summary
This study is testing whether a pill called abemaciclib can help control an aggressive type of brain tumor called grade 3 meningioma. The drug is already approved for other cancers but not for brain tumors. Researchers will compare the pill against a placebo in 72 adults who have completed standard surgery and radiation treatment.
