Scientists map brain connections to make tumor surgery safer

NCT ID NCT04163315

Summary

This research study aims to create detailed maps of brain connections in people with brain tumors. By studying 30 patients before and during surgery, researchers hope to understand how tumors affect brain wiring and how the brain adapts. The findings could help surgeons better preserve brain function during tumor removal operations.
