Doctors test Direct-to-Tumor chemo for aggressive childhood brain cancers
NCT ID NCT04994977
Summary
This early-stage study tested a method to deliver chemotherapy directly to the blood vessels feeding rare brain tumors in children and adults. The goal was to see if shrinking the tumor with this targeted approach would make a follow-up surgery safer and more effective. The trial was terminated after enrolling only one participant.
