NCT ID NCT06322602

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether placing a small device called an Ommaya reservoir under the scalp during a brain tumor biopsy can help doctors safely collect fluid samples from the brain over time. The goal is to find markers in the fluid that could show how the tumor is growing or responding to treatment. About 20 people with suspected or known brain tumors will take part. The study does not test a new treatment but aims to improve future monitoring and care.
