First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a new brain-training method to help healthy adults stop fear from returning after it has been learned and then unlearned. Participants will receive real-time feedback from an MRI scanner to strengthen connections between brain areas that control memory. The goal is to see if this training can reduce the spontaneous return of fear responses.
