Scientists test brain scan 'Feedback' to erase unwanted fear
NCT ID NCT07122739
Summary
This study is testing a new brain training method to see if it can help people better control unwanted memories and reduce the spontaneous return of learned fear. Healthy adults will use real-time brain scan feedback to try and strengthen their brain's natural memory control network. The goal is to understand if this training can make fear responses less likely to come back after they've been reduced.
