Summary
This study aims to understand how different mental focus techniques affect brain activity. Researchers will compare two strategies—focusing on heartbeat alone versus multiple body sensations—to see which better helps healthy volunteers control a specific brain region using real-time MRI feedback. The study involves 60 participants and measures brain activity changes, empathy responses, and body awareness accuracy.
